The storm that dropped the snow on Chicago nailed us in Milwaukee, too. 
Started snowing about 9AM Friday and tapered off to flurries by 5PM
leaving us with another 6 inches of snow on the ground.  This is what it
looks like out my front door - quite a difference from Boone...
