For the target audience (parents of the little league baseball player) there is more than enough context for them. Simply the uniform and helmet do that. This shot is one of about 10,000 taken during the season of lots and lots of kids. Trying to cover 44 teams in a very short period of time requires shooting in less than ideal lighting conditions. I think it portrays the sentiment in the child as is.
I'll relook at the sleeve issue to see if it can be improved - most likely can as these are all shot in raw and then converted fairly quickly with very little manipulation.
