The wife DID order the Veho scanner for me for Christmas, meaning only 2 1/2 days until I see it. From the reviews I've read it does an acceptable job when slides and negs are scanned into PSE. I have many of my father's family snapshots taken on Kodachrome back as far as the late 40's or early 50's and look forward to scanning them into the Dell laptop.
