Had to throw away a whole role of Kodak Ektacolor Edge paper this afternoon because one of my supposedly "trained" photolab people doesn't know better than to pull his arms out of the dark bag before he finishes loading the paper into the magazine and gets it sealed up.
Customer comes up and he just pulls his arms out and walks over to talk to her. Leaves the magazine open and the roll of paper exposed. I finished the job and tested it, but all the prints had pink splotches and burned looking marks along the edge of the paper. It didn't get any better after running a hundred test prints through it, so I had to change the paper again myself and throw a brand new 610' roll of paper in the trash-can because it was ruined. I've got tomorrow off, and I dread going back to work of Friday. Who knows what they'll manage to destroy in the interval. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
