The downside about organizing my photos in Lightroom, is I'll be boring you with some of my older and less inspired photos.
The upside is it lets me practice with PS (well, Elements 5). This one I tried a B&W conversion with using a couple of adjustment layers, one using the RGB channels. In April I made an abortive trip to Sacramento to look for poppies where George Lepp had told me they were. Had a quick lunch with Bruce, didn't find any poppies (found them later about 5 miles from home), visited Auburn, and a man-made lake in land from Auburn (lots of mansions among farm houses). Old town Auburn is tiny, but it has an impressive court house on a knoll. The court house has a dome, but it's not caught in this shot. I ran all around the building and took all kinds of shots, but haven't thought any of them were worth showing (before now, before organizing :-)). It was also swarming with swallows, which I found the most interesting part, and sometimes I could get them in a shot, and sometimes I couldn't. Sans dome, but I think it captures the feel of the building... somewhat. It also let me play with converting. http://members.aol.com/eactivist/PAWS/pages/auburn.htm Comments welcome.
