I wouldn't dream of it:-). I was merely responding to Jaume's question about image quality. I'm sure the lens is a practical solution for many, particularly someone like you who is heavily invested in expensive primes and wouldn't want to add multiple zooms. I have quite a few primes as well that I use for shots and situations where I can predict a focal length, but I don't have a lot of high ticket lenses. My primes are Ks, Ms, As and less expensive FAs. And since I've owned most of these for many years, investing in several good zooms wasn't a big leap. In fact, I plan on buying all the DA* lenses when finances allow. Paul
