I had the DA16-45 but replaced it with the FA20-35. I prefer the latter's size, weight, contrast and rendering qualities, and the shorter zoom range was never an issue for me. However, once I bought the DA21 I pretty much abandoned the 20-35 and ended up selling it. My kit has come down to the DA14, DA21, FA43 and DA70 ... this suits me perfectly, whether for travel or anything else. I've got the DA* lenses available to me at present ... Soon as I get a chance to do some shooting with them, I'll report what I think of them.
