That may be part of it, but I was under the assumption all those testimonials are out there to draw new users in. Certainly a company that spends advertising dollars probably better spends it marketing to new untapped potential customers as opposed to those that have already bought into the brand. Those who already possess a degree of brand loyalty and ownership likely need little prompting to make additional purchases. >As far as the contest format goes, I think it's a lot less fun to click a >static link instead of having a little hunting to do. > So I can read things like: "I like to take pictures" "You should see me trying to get waterfall shots" "test" "Somehow the dropdown menu left off my state, MI" "I get horney when I play with my Pentax" "Hello, my surnam is kalOO and I leave near Paris and Versailles. I like my K10 and few lenses" "I used Pentax film cameras, now I use Pentan slrs" "RED" (Granted there are better ones out there). I'm beginning to agree with you. It must not be aimed at the buying public. ;-) I'd suggest some judicious editing though. Tom C. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
