Whether you're handholding or using a tripod with a pan head for your still shotof the train, you still can't:

"... shoot it more than once correcting for any oversights as they[you] go along." Soooo - the difference between hand holding and letting a movie head hold the weight of the camera and reduce vibration for this still shot is... what again? Try to stay on track here.
