Well I've been shopping.  We picked up a K10D and Panasonic FX30.  A  
Canon that we looked at seemed to have snappier AF in the shop but  
the Panasonic was smaller and quieter, and has a very nice screen.   
Also seemed very responsive.

Also picked up a couple of 4Gb cards.  This stuff is ridiculously  
cheap these days.

Batteries are charging and the latest firmware has just been  
downloaded.  I guess I'd better read the manual.
