Well, opening night was Friday night. They will hang for a month. In the
end, I was pretty tired and sort of kicked myself for putting so much work
into
it (for no money :-)). Although it was semi-enjoyable. Mainly I took the
class to give me focus in taking pictures. The teacher is a big proponent of
having photographic projects to work on during the course of one's life time
--
more than one. And I don't think he is wrong in that approach. I also took the
class just to force myself to get off my rear to take shots.

Supposedly I was the big hit of the show, that is what several people told
me. There were ten exhibiting students. I thought that two students were
literally better photographers than I. However, there was a preponderance of
flower shots and mine were definitely different. I also did something else
different and quite a few were intrigued with that. I wasn't that happy with
how it
turned out myself and may some day redo it, but, on the other hand, I am the
only one that knows what I really had in mind. :-)

And I think I became once again, a tad bit of a better photographer in the
process of doing a class project.

Thanks to the list for previewing and commenting on my photos -- that was
extremely helpful. I choose the ones most people liked the most.

In a few days I will probably post what I did.

Thanks, again, Marnie aka Doe :-) (I forgot to format this as plain text,
so resending.)
