When I tried this kind of thing some years ago, using Adobe Freehand, I was less than impressed with the results. Looking at Ann's image it will be very difficult to come up with anything that will look nice without considerable hand tweaking. The wooden rack, in particular, will present all sorts of problems. IMO the easiest thing to do would be to start over with a vector tool.
