I have no idea what a "true" IPA is but I do know that I love the hoppy bitterness of the Dogfish 90 minute IPA. It's my any occasion beer. I also like the 120 minute IPA but it is like 18% alcohol, kinda sweet, and knocks me on the floor (in a good, fun way!). Paul, the Dogfish brewery doesn't make anything just called "India Pale Ale" are you referring to one of the 60, 90 or 120 minute IPAs or the "Shelter Pale Ale" (which I'm not sure is an IPA)? With talk of stouts, Dogfish's "Chicory Stout" has a nice rich chocolaty flavor. Dogfish makes some other very interesting beers, and I'm lucky enough that my parents live around 30 minutes to the brewery and their second pub is only 10 minutes from my house! -- Christian http://photography.skofteland.net -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
