======= Thanks, Paul. Well, it was on a road next to the highway. The road only went to one farm when I followed it to the end. Someone just used the side of the road as a dump. People do that. Over the years I have seen various stuff by the road in various places. Because this was a little traveled road no one had cleaned it up. It may stay there a long time, rotting away. At least it's better than abandoning a car... I guess.
