TOKYO (Nikkei)--All eight directors of Pentax Corp. will resign at the firm's general shareholders meeting in late June to take responsibility for "causing confusion" over a possible business integration with Hoya Corp., company sources said Thursday.
Pentax President Takashi Watanuki on Thursday morning expressed his intention to leave the board, as have the seven other directors. Kou Torigoe, a senior executive officer overseeing the firm's digital camera operations, is expected to replace Watanuki as president. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
