Yes, indeed, I am in Cottyland.  Cotty and Alma were
kind enough to transport and feed me last night, and
it was very enjoyable (and the home-made pizza was
=much= better than Cotty would have you believe!).

The 1D Mark II is a formidable machine indeed--heavy,
solid, heavy, nice-handling, and did I mention heavy? 
With one of those along, if you have a sudden need for
a wheel chock for your Boeing 747, you're all set!

One tends to forget how nice old all-metal lenses are;
the Cotty-ized 15 and 85 are real beauties.

I spent Sunday wandering about this small town fending
off jet lag and taking pictures, and spent most of
yesterday wandering around Oxford taking pictures. 
Today I had to work.  Tomorrow to London for mostly
work, maybe a few pics.

Goodness knows when I'll get them sorted and posted...
