I would think it would.  Since the K100D supports ISO3200 whereas the 
K10D only supports ISO1600.  That could be due to the lower native speed 
of the chip as well, but the pre-release cameras had an ISO3200 
setting.  There are many differences in the specifications for the two 
cameras.  The one that I find most important after the actual resolution 
is the viewfinder.  Pentaprism K10D ~ *ist-D/Ds (with improved focus 
screen), vs Mirror Prism, K100D ~ *ist-DL (with improved focus screen). 
Thirdly the K10 has an much larger buffer and faster write speed as well.
