Conveying misery:  a speciality of mine!  ;-)

I don't know if it's the same on everyone else's monitors, but when I
click the zoom button twice, then move the pic about so the subject
more or less agrees with the "rule of thirds", it's a much stronger
photo.  Blurry, yes, but under those conditions, it works.  And, one
can see the rain hitting the street much better at that magnification.

I guess what I'm saying is that "a crop would work" <audible gasp from crowd>
