That is a quart in 800 miles, I would say you definitely have a leak somewhere. As a comparison, my '94 Blazer with 140K miles goes trough a 1/2 quart in 5000 miles. Since I run synthetic oil it seeps out where regular oil would not. No drips, but it leaks a bit in several places.
