I started on a plan in February, trying to get back into shape. Canada turned me into a lard-arse. Used to bike every day, then moved here and hardly bike at all. Dropped 10 lbs so far but still need to shift another 20 at least. Got myself a personal trainer 'cos I'm lazy. I'll go to the gym but only do stuff I like doing. Trainer pushes me harder and makes me run. I hate running. I have about 6 more sessions booked. Trainer's a footballer (not real football, that pretend one where there's just a lot of shoving and commercial breaks).
