Christian pretty much summed up what I'd have said, but in a much more
articulate fashion.

Marnie, I know standing in the middle of the road's not always a good
thing, but from the looks of it, you could have stood there for an
hour and a half and not seen a car.  :-)

OTOH, the road with the lack of cars only adds to the desolation of
the suburban scene.
