Thanks for all the replies.  I sat there for a few minutes waiting for 
the breeze to die and ended up with one underexposed photograph.  The 
white daffs and the white porch didn't work all that well in color, 
either.  After tinkering around with the black and white conversion and 
not having much luck, I finally applied a blue filter.  This provided 
more separation between the flowers and the porch than anything else.  
It also brought out the noise.  If you click on the magnifying glass 
near the top right of the photo you can see that I over sharpened it, too.

The composition was initially appealing (I don't mind the sloping porch) 
but there's just too much else that's wrong with it.  It'll probably go 
in the circular file sooner or later.  Thanks again for looking, and 
thanks for the replies.
