That is very cool. I couldn't find anything on the TIPA site specifying the cameras they compared in the "expert" class, but I would imagine it may have included the D80 or D200, 30D, Fuji S5 and other cameras in the ~$1000-$2000US range. High praise indeed.
On the other hand, the "Best rangefinder digital camera" award SHB the "Only rangefinder digital camera" or "We can't have awards without giving something to Leica and we already gave Panasonic the super zoom award" award.
