No seriously. I think you have a problem understanding what is legal and illegal.
I think it's legal to buy a multi-region DVD player in the USA. I think it's legal for an individual to reprogram a region 1 player to be a multi-region player in the USA. I think it would be illegal to make copies of copyrighted material for other than personal viewing. It would be illegal to distribute them without prior permission by the owner(s).
