You know, this discussion on the merits of blogging is really very funny - in an ironic way - on a photography mailing list. Why do people blog? It's a form of self-expression. Just like photography. Are there a lot of bad blogs out there? Yes, certainly. I fully expect that the ration of well-written blogs to rubbish blogs is pretty much the same as the ratio of good photographs published on the web to bad ones.
