Pretty sure the lens says "JSCO-GOTTINGEN" on the front (can't check  
it, since I left it at work). Wonder if "JSCO" is a different  
(cheaper?) line of lenses. It is a machined metal bodied lens- looks  
like aluminum. I will try to clean and lubricate the little bugger- I  
suspect that old grease is its biggest problem. Best used as a  
training item.

I mean to emphasize the "little" part. The lens contacts and focus  
drive are exposed when it is mounted on the camera.
