And that's if they're even still in the rangefinder business by then.

Leica's name will never disappear, thanks to the P&S cameras whose lenses 
are stamped as Leicas, but I often wonder how much time Leica has left as a 
maker of their own cameras.  They've had a lot of financial troubles in 
recent years, and I'd be surprised if someone didn't buy them up and 
eliminate the less profitable parts of the business.

It's what Konica did to Minolta.  It is also becoming apparent it's what 
Hoya would like to do with Pentax.
