A few years ago (2003), Don Nelson got Bernie Boston to speak at the Grandfather Mountain Camera Clinic, the photojournalism even they hold every August. Most of us didn't know him by name and in the usual "shooting the breeze" around the PDML Central campfire Saturday night, some of us were even offering him photo advice - at least that's what Tom Van Veen says, so perhaps it was only one of us offering photo tips ;-)
You'll probably recognize his best-known photo on the cover of this book: http://www.amazon.com/Bernie-Boston-Photojournalist-Therese-Mulligan/dp/1933360194 He is, by the way, a gracious and unpretentious person and a great storyteller. He and his wife are avid pilots and he shared lots of hair-raising airplane stories. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
