I try hard to take care of my negatives, particularly the submini  
ones. Remember this is Minox format, an 8x11 mm negative. A small  
dust spot is a boulder by the time you make a 6x8" print. No editing,  
adjustment, or whatever were done after the scanning process. Can't  
use the LS40's IR scratch and dust removal with traditional B&W film  
either.

Only processing was the resampling for the web and a nip up with USM.  
The full size rendering is untouched other than the overlay for my  
watermark.

Same here. Preparing, scanning finishing one negative can take as  
much time as rendering a hundred digital capture exposures.
