Godfrey - thanks for correcting my post of a couple of days ago where I confused "collections" with "folders." I am just a little puzzled by your suggestion to put the LR library on the same external HD ass the image store. It may save start-up time, but doesn't it cause conflicting demands on the HD, thereby slowing down processing?
