xx933.jpg and your altered version are both excellent, they have a different feel but both are pleasant.
xx944.jpg and the altered version differ more: I think you went a bit too far on that one and blew out the highlights. xx944.jpg is more delicate and needs just a tiny bit of adjustment to work well.
