DFA? Is this a new FF digital lens series?
If so, might that mean there is a FF DSLR
body series in Pentax's future?

Pentax produces DFA 100/2.8 which seems (I am not sure really) no worse 
than FA version and it is really light and small (49 mm filter
threads)...

It is also said to be optimized for digital and it does cover full 35 mm

frame.
