G'day Igor, As Adam has said the bag has a clasp as well as a large surface velcro closure (about 50mm x 100mm). In a general shooting situation as soon as you put the top flap down the velcro catches and the bag is essentially secure.
I've never tipped the bag while wearing it, but I have a few times taking it out of the car. As yet nothing has spilled out <touches wood>. I'll also add that the velcro is very strong, and makes one a hell of a ripping noise when you pull it apart, so it's not so good in situations that require stealthy operations. My work around is to just use the tip of the velcro on the flap so I'm not pulling it all apart.
