This pretty much describes my own experience.  One thing though is the
realization how much "pure" Pentax photos I have.  For a while I used
a Tokina zoom as my walk around and some of my best shots were taken
with that lens.  Recently I have been using a Sigma lens and those
cannot be submitted as well.  So way over half my "inventory" were not
even submitted.
