<grin> The salesman is not far off the mark. I place the K10D in between the D200 and D80 for feature set and build - but price sure causes problems when comparing against the Nikons. In order to sell against the K10D, you really have to ignore the body and compare the rest of the system. Then Nikon starts to look like a good buy. For those just looking for a lens or two, you would be hard pressed to pick either Nikon over the Pentax, if you are really comparing features and price. I think few do that.
