ISO 1600 and K10D. I'm using the Green Button, have tried setting it to Program Line and to Tv Shift (in Custom Functions). I'm also using a genuine Pentax adapter.
Upon doing some further testing, it appears as though it maybe a combination of two things: User Error (forgetting that there is spot metering with Tak lenses), and that with a small aperture, not enough light is getting to the metering sensors to register (below 0 EV?) When I directed the spot meter at a white wall instead of a black frame, I achieved 1/30 second at f4, 1/13 second at f/5.6, 1/5 sec at f/8, and then it begins blinking at f/11, (indicating that the meter has bottomed out, I presume). I suppose that is where flash comes in handy...
