It certainly does.
My three Epson printers worked flawlessly without a single clog, even
when they'd been sitting for a while, when they were situated in an
upstairs bedroom.
As soon as the same printer moved to the (semi-finished) basement it
clogged on a regular basis.
I'd say the basement was colder and less humid
