Hi Walt the Tamron adaptall2 90mm 2.5 is indeed a good and well build macro lens but the bokeh of the Pentax A 50mm 2.8 macro is nicer. The old M42 Takumar 50mm F4 I own is really good as well, that's why I would go for a Pentax A 100mm one. "A" lenses have some adantages, I would not care about AF as well. greetings Markus
