Again, thank you all for the comments. It's good to think about these
things. Now if only we can get some discussion going. :-)

- do you like it? what is your immediate reaction?
No. Negative.
how about a little later, do you go back to it and think again?
No.
- what do you think of it in technical terms?
Fine, but you're good technically. Can't think when you haven't been.
- is the subject matter of interest to you?
No.
- does the photograph impose any emotional effect upon you?
No.

Since I was, indirectly someone you referred to, I am responding.

I much prefer your minimalist clover and flower pic and even your recent
blue house pic, but also some of your recent B&Ws (it's not about color, in
other words). But I am not really interested in starting a discussion, sorry,
since I am quite busy with other things. Just keeping up with PESOs takes a
fair
amount of my time. Too much time.

I made the comments I did because my answers would have been the above and I
thought you might "get" what I was saying when I expressed it the way I did.
:-) But never doubt, Godfrey, that, personally, I think you are a very, very
good photographer. I am sorry if my comments upset you. And, you know,
someone's else reactions are just someone else's reactions, always shoot to
please
yourself first.
