The 45CT-4 is a monster of a flash. If you read the instruction
manual, there's a section about being careful not to set things on
fire with it. If one of the sync cords is an SCA 371 end with an SCA
300A cable, you can do TTL flash on the Super A, and any later camera
that supports analog TTL (including the *istD/DS/DS2). An SCA 374/2AF
adapter will get you AF spot beam functionality on autofocus cameras.
An SCA 3702 adapter and 3000 series cable will get you a couple more
functions on the later cameras as well, and if Metz ever releases the
rumored P-TTL adapter, it might be usable on all of the current DSLRs.
