I doubt we'll see more than ~12MP or a different crop factor. 1.5x is a workable crop factor and going larger gives potential problems with SR and DA lens image circle. You could either go larger or go SR, we got SR. I'm expecting 12.4MP CMOS from Sony (D2x sensor) or the 4 channel 10MP Sony sensor from the D200.
