Welcome! This is a very sane group, given to boring technical stuff interspersed with moments of jocularity and occasional fits of madness. We are in one of the latter phases right now, but this to shall pass.
I've obtained sharp images @ 1/25 sec exposure, using an FA80-200 zoom, zoomed to 177mm, target a reverse-lighted billboard about 100 ft. away. I may post that tomorrow - right now am outta' here for the evening. Also see the bird sculpture in the Other PESO I just posted a link for. That was low speed with a 77mm lens; I had tried the same shot 2-3 weeks earlier with my *ist-D and the camera shake overcame the shot. The K10D (and probably similar with the K100D) SR is just awesome. I would expect easily down to 1/10 with a 40mm if you are at all careful.
