With my D, I found that scratches and nose grease distracted me so much from
the photo I was trying to see that I bought a Delkin pop-up screen shade for
the DS and modified it for my D. This was also after I cracked the LCD
screen and had to send it in to Pentax for repair.

Thus, I wrote Delkin just now asking if they plan on producing a pop-up
shade for the K10D and K100D. I don't care so much about the shading
function as I do about protecting the screen. With such a big screen, I can
see myself somehow damaging it easily, which would drive me nuts as time
went by.
