I could get the 2-lens kit with the camera. I did that with my *Ist
and I was very disappointed with the 28-80 Sigma, the 100-300 Sigma
was better. I replaced the Sigma kit lenses with Tamron lenses and
there was a noticeable difference in the results. I assumed the kit
lenses would be the same quality with the K10D.

The other problem is that I would prefer to not have to swap lenses.
I visited my daughter in Scotland last northern winter and there were
times when I couldn't feel the camera because my fingers were numb,
even wearing gloves. I will be visiting her again next year, after my
first experience of a European winter I wouldn't like to chance
swapping lenses when I can't feel anything with my hands.
