Hi Francis
welcome first from my side.
I have no advice regarding soft light but I liked the shot with the egg and
the fire :-)
greetings
Markus

Hi

Feel like drooling?
http://islandlight.ca/food.php

Here is a shot of one of the setups that I used for this project.
http://islandlight.ca/photos/food-photo-setup.jpg
(The soft boxes are, as you may have noticed, garbage cans.)

I am in the process of doing the photos for a children's cook book and
it occurred to me that there might be some one on the list who actually
knows how to do that kind of shoot (I certainly don't), so I'm fishing
for good advice. I would, of course, be delighted to hear from anyone
who doesn't do food photography as well.
Just out of curiosity, what is the going rate for this kind of a job?

Thanks for looking and have a wonderful day.

Sincerely,

Francis (also known as F Mckenty)
