Marcus - I'm broke as hell and I do love my kitty but basically the cat calendar is a commercial venture. Cats sell (I hope) I shot everything on the calendar with the pro-1 point and shoot within a month or two if acquiring Ashley for the express purpose of getting the shtos up on cafepress before Christmas. That being said, I like the shots myself :)
However, re the equipment, I have an new computer and a new LCD monitor and on my equipment they certainly don't look flat... so I'm confused. forgetting the cat shot - tell me if you feel the same about the first 4 shots in this section of my photo.net stuff. The second one is kinda trite, but in terms of how they look for exposure and such, they look good to me.
