There is an audiophile record version of "Darkside of the moon" from MSFL and also a pseudo quadrophonic recording of "Atom heard mother" from another label. The LP "dark side of the moon" from MSFL contains fine very silent details not hearable on the "normal" CD. Listening to it on Lexicon surround equipment and eletrostatic headphones is wonderful, one large speakers at high volume it is an incredible adventure :-) greetings Markus

Meddle was the first CD I ever bought, and I still own the one I bought, scratched to hell but still playable. Dark Side of the Moon was probably the second or third CD I bought. And Echoes is still one of those songs that I can close my eyes to, and just kind of forget about the world for 23 and a half minutes. If I _really_ listen to pretty much any Pink Floyd album, I'll still pick up on nuances and sounds that I never noticed were there. The same is true of the Roger Waters solo stuff, especially "Amused To Death" which is well worth a listen. -Mat -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
