IMO it could be very useful for people like me (shame on me BTW) using their DSLR to take loads of pix but who have a very limited knowledge of the processing on the PC.
If the K10D do it fine enough for me (RAW -> JPEGS, WB etc.) in camera, I will use that more often than PS & co. Of course that supposes I do not need features present in PS and not in the camera or that I do not how to use them (and I do not know for a lot of things). So I'm very curious about the in camera processing options.
