I agree. As a long lens shooter who has worked a lot in handheld situations, I have found this to be the case. It is significantly harder to handhold a 400mm lens at 1/500th with my D than it was with my LX. Of course, shake reduction has changed all that completely. Paul On Nov 29, 2006, at 3:57 AM, J. C.
