I was playing.. er... experimenting with that last night.

As Dave said, you can set the upper and lower bounds for the ISO range
and the camera automatically adjusts.  I was trying to figure out the
logic.  It seems to vary with the program line that's selected,
although I'll admit, my methodology was not very sound.

One of my other Pentax cameras actually had graphs of the program
lines in the manual.  Alas, none such in the K10D manual.

Another interesting feature is the ISO alert.  You pick an ISO
setting, The ISO indicator lights up the in the viewfinder if the
setting is at or above that point.

The interesting thing about the feature is it's only activated in the
Sv mode.  I don't quite understand why it doesn't work in all of the
modes.

In general, I'm finding the user interface on this camera to be very
well thought out.
